New hope for Kyrahola apartment buildings


In a recent meeting in the local Planning and Environment Committee in Førde Kommune, the draft design proposal by Mestres Wåge Arquitectes for an apartment complex in Førde, Norway was approved for further planning, while awaiting the final approval.

The project has previously been held back by political forces, because of its large size and proximity to an important recreational area. However, the new reduced project seems to have been well received in the last committee meeting, with one member, Hallgeir Helland calling the illustrations, “the finest ones I have seen of the kind”. The future of the project is now in the hands of the politicians that will be in place after the local and regional elections later this year. Read more her:
