With an old Norwegian building tradition as point of departure, the “tun”-structure, a fusion between nature and landscape is allowed to appear. The division of the total footprint into small buildings keeps the steep shape of the landscape as intact as possible. The buildings will appear as a transition between the open nature and denser building mass further south in the valley.
Each building contains 4-5 apartments of different size with views towards the surrounding nature and direct access to the ski resorts with good conditions for ski-in ski- out. Within the apartments, the living areas are facing the south, taking advantage of the light with a 180 degrees view trough glass windows. Each of the apartments have their own private terrace. The spaces between the buildings are common areas for play, to have a barbeque with your neighbors, to learn to ski, build snowmen etc.
